PINs project
Mon 10 Jun 2024Dear Parents, St George's will be participating in a new PINs project (Partnerships for Inclusion of Neurodiversity (PINS) Pilot) which will explore ways to meet the needs of neurodiverse children in mainstream primary schools. The PINS project will test an innovative model for effective deployment of specialist support on supporting neurodiverse pupils who represent a fast-growing group among the children most likely to benefit from a more inclusive environment. The pilot will focus on early support and intervention for neurodiverse children. It will achieve this by bringing together health, the local parent carer partnerships, the local authority, and education staff. The one-year PINs pilot will “create environments that better meet neurodiverse children’s needs, ensuring they are able to thrive as part of their wider cohort”. As a part of the PINs project, Harrow have put together a short parent survey to complete which is for all parents whose child attends the school. Please click on the link below to access the survey, and more information regarding the PINs project. The survey will be open for two weeks, and will close by Friday 21st June 2024. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=ebasqoHD-0izIPnVge6UjzAK8c2Rf59PsfF45PWN4a1URTk2WVBHN0ZVWDVVVVg4N1lLQzNMTzJYVC4u Thank you in advance for your support. Food Drive
Thu 16 May 2024Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians,
Our year five class (5M) is holding a food drive to help support those in the harrow community who may struggle with poverty.
Each year group has been assigned a set of items which they can bring in to their class teacher as a donation. These items have been set in accordance with the current demands that harrow food banks are requesting.
If possible, we ask if each child can bring to school an item from the list - see attached - as a donation. All the items are to be donated by Monday 20th May.
We thank you for being the good samaritan in our community.
Kind Regards,
Mr Murray.
